PERMANENT EXHIBITION

Second Floor

The Novosibirsk City Museum is pleased to offer you a permanent exhibit and rotating temporary exhibits. In addition, the Museum conducts traveling exhibitions on these themes: “Breakthrough in Space” (dedicated to the 50-year anniversary of the first man in space); and “Memories of Novosibirsk and the Novosibirsk Region”.

Our permanent exhibit is located on the second floor in the Y. V. Kondratyuk Memorial Hall. The Museum is dedicated to the life history of Yuri Kondratyuk, one of the founders of astronautics. In this exhibit the museum displays genuine documents, rare books, and unique items, like astronauts’ accommodations, food, and clothing. Our permanent exhibits are “The Fate and Artistic Legacy of Y. V. Kondratyuk” and “Space Development and the Capital of Siberia”.
